I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
what is nice and hard working excersises for girls u/13? I have fat players in my team and I want them fit as I am in C so what can I do?
I am just wondering if anyone has a good fitness lesson for U.13's. I've got a new team with some super fit girls and some very unfit girls. Their skills are as widely mixed as their fitness abilities and I'm struggling knowing what I can do to accommodate all girls. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I currently play for and captain a team and often run some training sessions during the summer for my team. There are quite a few things I think we could work on and also things the ladies want to focus on too. Sometimes I think I have had overloaded sessions e.g. too many drills and not enough time to complete them properly and then to have a mini game to put it all in practice at the end. For an hour session, how many drill sessions do you think would be ideal and is it better to focus on say a couple of skills per session?
Hi all, just checking what people's thoughts are on either playing the best combination or giving everyone equal time during a finals series. Throughout the season, everyone has been given a fairly equal run but I'm not sure what to do in the finals and would like to hear people's ideas. Thanks
For an assignment, I most teach some students how to play netball; however we must do the training in the Competition Season. What drills can I do that are of high intensity and also fit into the Competition Season?
please help I am having trouble linking my four session plans together on attacking principles,Create and penetrate space moving the ball fast and flat off the straight line. Please helpthanks
Hi, My two team of girls are having a great season and will be heading into finals in 6 rounds, as a coach this is first time i have coached finals. My question is about positions and subs, do you play fair all over for the whole game or do you put your best team on court for most of the game, playing those that don't fit into the best line up on for minimum time - like the first quarter?i have one team of 8 (Age group Under 19's) , and one team of 9 Seniors (A2) which i play/coach in? Any tips would be helpful.
I hav the top div team under 12s and have a new player who has not played before, how can I bring up her skill level ? She will be playing WA GS Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
I've just had my last game of netball and my team is in for the finals, and we won. we are undefeated. first we have semi then preliminary and then grand finals. In the game that i had today, i did not play very well because my opponent was very fast and i got tired really quick. i really need to get more fit in preparation for the finals and be able to last longer without getting tired. could you please give me some tips, thanks. P.S i have camp on the week i have the grand finals and we come back on Thursday. should i eat healthy during camp?
i have got grand final coming up next Saturday. last Saturday, we had the semi finals and lost to the team that we beat before, and because we were the top team we got a second chance. our second chance was today and we one versing a different team. i felt like i was really pumped and hungry for the ball. how can i make sure i play just as well as i did today for next weeks game? could you please provide some exercises to strengthen different parts of my body and ways to get fit and ready for the game, thanks for all your help!
my coach put my team into a higher division to play in the Twilight competition. I used to play amazing when i played in my own level, but now since i am versing higher teams, my performance is really bad. i keep on getting tired, which then leaves me to not be able to get free, defend, pass or jump to get the rebounds. it is really annoying, because my mum does not seem to understand why i am so bad now, and she yells at me all the time. i tried telling her that she has to be supportive instead of criticising me because she has no idea why i'm playing bad, but she just gets even more mad! we don't have proper training because our coach is too busy, so we have a players mum.Her training is not the same as my coach's.please help, i don't know what to do!
I WOULD LIKE A SUGGESTION OF A PRE-SEASON PROGRAM FROM NOVEMBER TILL FEB
Hi Everyone I've been playing defence for a long time now, and only last Saturday did I start to play centre. It was during our warm up on that day, (before our game) when my coach told me that I would be playing centre. I agreed to do it, but the problem was that the other team was a really good and very fit team. I struggled a lot durig the game, and i felt like i was dying the whole time! Also because I had never played centre before I didn't know how to feed the ball into the goal circle. I also don't know how to defend on the goal circle. Also what is the centres main job? Thanks so much for all the help! Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
