Fitness for netball pre season

How do you improve your fitness as a net baller during your summer break. I know that summer holidays are meant for a break but I just want to keep up with my fitness.

Yes, the summer is supposed to give you a rest, however, it is important that you ​stay ​fit ​ready ​for ​the ​new ​season ​- ​especially ​in ​August. ​I ​would ​advise ​you ​to ​ensure ​your ​ball ​skills ​are ​up ​to ​scratch, ​either ​practising​ ​with ​a ​partner ​or ​on ​your ​own ​against ​a ​wall. ​Check ​out ​our ​ DIY ​Drills , ​these ​are ​simple ​drills ​that ​require ​minimal​ ​equipment ​or ​assistance ​that ​will ​help ​keep ​up ​your ​speed ​and ​strength. ​Other ​fitness ​includes ​circuits ​such ​as ​core ​or ​endurance, ​including ​burpees, ​press-ups​, ​sprints ​etc. ​these ​can ​be ​fun ​and ​a ​nice ​change ​to ​simply ​running.
