I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
I have an U/11 GS who is passing out of the circle to C or WA to get into a better position to shoot, but in doing so, puts herself behind her opponent, blocking herself from taking the pass back. Can she pass out, then "reverse" herself back to take the pass so she doesn't end up behind her opponent, or is she likely to be penalized for potentially stepping on her opponent? Any ideas/techniques anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated. I am new to the coaching scene. Thanks
I have a new netball team, they range from girls or have never played to ones whom played last year. They are from year 3 to 5. How do you coach such a mixed team easily?
please can anyone tell me the difference between a reverse pivot and a roll?
How do I rotate 8 girls for netball

my team always sit down and they never want to run so what do I do. we lose nearly every game and they blame the coach but its their own fault
I coach an under 11 team and we have only lost twice this season, both times to the same team. We are playing them next week in the semi final, how can I motivate my girls to believe they can win? I believe they can but because we haven't beat them yet they believe we will lose. Any ideas would be great.
I would like a drill that encourages the girls to find space and improve timing of throws.
They are such a good team (under 12's), with so much potential, but we struggle against the top 2 teams as their defense is amazing and my girls struggle to get free, which then really disheartens them. I'm a first time coach, so its still a learning experience for me.
My girls are winning almost all of their games and have even moved up a grade. I am now struggling to think of ideas and ways to keep them going. Any Ideas Please????

Hi, I coach a team of good standard 9 and 10 year olds. I am coaching them to pass the ball up the court more quickly and with pace, using shoulder passes. Can you recommend any good drills for this. Asked using Sportplan Mobile App

what are the different types of dodging in netball
I keep coming across situations of umpires reversing play for "pass not set". Typically where we want to take the pass speedily the ball is laid off, it is then being reversed as the offending player has not been standing by our side and ball given back to the offender. Surely this can not be the correct use of the rule? Some who contacts but then chooses not to set the penalty in time is then given the ball back? I understand it being reversed if the pass is not set from the correct position, but surely not for not waiting for the offender to be by our side!
in more ways than one
