make this harder

Hi Tabitha,

Here are a few ways to make your netball drills harder:

Reverse Hand Control:

  • Drill: In pairs, one player feeds the ball to different positions, and the worker uses their reverse hand to control and pass it back.
  • Harder: Feed the worker a harder ball and further away to make the worker stretch further for the ball.
  • 2 Reverse Hand Control Drill.

Footwork and Accuracy:

  • Drill: In pairs, one player moves around a triangle while the other drops the ball for them to retrieve and hit a target.
  • Harder: Increase the distance to the target or the difficulty of the dropped ball.
  • 3 Footwork and Accuracy Drill.

Fetch and Intercept:

  • Drill: One player retrieves the ball five times and then tries to intercept a pass made across the court.
  • Harder: Increase the speed and unpredictability of the passes.
  • 4 Fetch and Intercept Drill.

These adjustments should provide a greater challenge for your players and help them improve their skills under pressure.

Best of luck with your training sessions!

Kind regards,

Lucy
