How do I rotate 8 girls for netball
I play all 8, with 2 having half a game each. This is shared for the whole season. Once you play all teams, the 2nd round you'll have more of an idea when to give your best players a rest.
I play all 8 with 4 having a full game and 4 having 3/4's each. I find this way that haivng stronger players off for a 1/4 each doesn't affect the game too much. You can still keep players in positions for most of the game giving some stability. The following week I reverse it. I really don't like players having 1/2 a game but that is just me %3A-)
I hope this helps(: xx

Hi,
I find 8 players easy - i rotate the GS/GA and GK/GD at half time or each quarter%3A these 4 girls have a full game, but half is in a third. Then, four players share C, WA, WD - three quarters each. Depending on the individuals, you could either give each girls 1 quarter in centre, or two girls half centre each. some girls find it confusing, and are better in the one position for the game.
I do find it harder when there are 9 players - but again, divide the team into mid court and circle players, and give the circle players at least 1 quarter as GA or GD. one girl gets a full game - she plays 3 at GK and 1 at GD.
in more ways than one

Footwork is the foundation of every skill in netball. This guide provides a clear explanation of the stepping rule, the mechanics of one-foot and two-foot landings, pivoting technique, and progressive drills to build footwork confidence from junior level upward.
The early 'shoot from anywhere' era is over. Smart teams now use data-driven decision models to decide when the two-pointer is worth it.
