I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
Who can send me an example of a training session for a A3 team where the training lasts 1 hours from warn up to warm down
Morning - Can you please tell me, is there a rule to prevent this? Where a GK or GD is defending a goal, can they hold one another back by their t-shirts thus allowing them a further reach? For instance, the GK grabs the GD's tshirts to that she may lean further over, enabling her hand to go right over the ball, as they are so tall already? Thanks!!
How to do a roster to rotate 10 netball players
i have been set a task to come up with a 6 week training program for a netball player, with the main aim to increase their endurance levels. i have planned for 3 sessions per week resulting in 18 sessions all together and i was wondering what sort of drills are appropriate to use so that there is a noticeable increase in endurance levels without having to make the player just literally run around for 40 mins a session. please help??
I assistant coach a year 5 team who have horrible core strength and they can not do planks and apparently 'sit ups are too easy' and they can't do push ups. What can i do to give them more core strength??
I have a group of approx 20 people and I am looking for some tips how to plan out a session with some sort of game at the end? thanks in advance
How long do you think 11 to 15 year olds can train for in one session before not gaining any benefit. I was thinking 1hour to 1.5 at the max.I have a wide range of ages in my team this year and want to make sure that the older girls are being challenged enough and the younger ones aren't over doing it.
Hi I have coached the same team for 3 years and they are now under 11"s....I have always tried to mix it up and do something different every session to keep the girls interested, but I feel as though we all get a bit lost in trying to keep it different... I would like to have a basic foot skill "routine" and drills that we do every session, so basic skills become second nature. I would then add a different skill session and fun game each week....Is there any experienced coaches out there that do this or does it create too much boredom doing the same thing each week?
i have begun to coach an under 11's team and they don't talk to each other or work as a team and i was wondering if there was any good tips to get them to do so?
Hi, How to keep girls of U13 team focussed during training? They are a lovely bunch of girls, but their focus is all over the place. What do you do to keep girls on task?
Can someone please suggest some session ideas for adult ladies netball for a new team?
What would a warm up be either before a game or at training
I need a high performance training session for netball players. Can you assist?
I am coaching a team of 8-9yr olds one of which is deaf. I am having problems getting anything to help me with this. Also I am wanting to print off some simple warmup drills eg basic run to first third walk back knees up walk back etc but have picturs for her aswell, but the session planner is more advance than this- I am wanting to do the same warm up for the start of each training and game. Any help ould be fantastic!!!
i am coaching my netball team currently the age range is between 16-21 and i would like some drills and warm up i could do with the team since we normally do the same thing at every training session we have.
Can someone run through the best warm up stretches to do and should they be done prior to or after cardio warm up? This is for kids netball (10 and under)
What should I do on a first coaching session ? I don't want the girls to get bored, i want them to want to come back next week.
