Split your players into 2 teams 4v4 with one ball to start and mark out a square grid (20x20) by using cones.
The white players (catchers) pass the ball between themselves to try and tag the black player (escaped prisoner) with the ball.
The black player has to stay inside the grid, as do the white players. White players can only move when they do not have the ball.
Once the black players gets tagged they switch with the white player who tagged them.
Encourage players to communicate amongst themselves to catch the black player. The black player needs to use a change of pace and direction to make sure they do not get caught.
Players need to use tactics to capture the attacker.
The attacker needs to look for space where there are no defenders.
