Work in pairs.One is lying on the floor, belly down.Number two is lying next to him in push-up position.Jumps over the other one and land in push-up position.Now number two jumps over number one etc.Most times in a certain time.Who will be at the finish line first ?

Catch the lizards tails

All players get a ribbon which should be put at the backside into everybody's shorts. So everybody is a lizard. All players try to get as many tails as he can in 45 seconds. Lizards who lose their tails can get another one from the trainer.

come along, go away

Players make small groups of 3 players.One player is outside the circle and may shout to a certain group : come along or Go away.After doing this the player and the group start running along the complete circle until they come back at their original place.The player who is last has to go outside and challenge another group.variations :starting positions :- sitting on knees- sitting on bottoms- lying on back- lying on tummy

Number ball

Players stand in a circle, with one player in the middle. Red player 1 has starts with the ball. He calls out the name of one of his team-mates and then throws the ball high up in the air. This player whose name has been called has to catch the ball before it reaches the floor. If they don't reach the ball in time they lose a point.

Overtaking

Two teams form one circle and stand so that members of the blue team are separated by players on the white team. Both teams start with a ball on opposite sides of the circle and pass the ball around in a clock-wise direction. The team that can overtake the ball of the other team by passing it to each other fastest is the winner.

Passing game

One player stands about 2-3 meters in front of the other players. This player is the feeder for their group and passes to the other players. Once a player has caught the ball from the feeder and passed it back, they run to the back of their own queue.

Two is too many

All players stand in a big circle except for the tagger. The coach appoints one player as the 'chosen one'. The tagger must not listen or look whilst the coach is selecting the chosen player. Once the player has been selected by the coach the tagger starts hunting for the chosen player. When the tagger positions themselves in front of the chosen player the player must run away - around the outside of the circle of players. From this point the tagger has up to 45 seconds to catch the player.

Wallball - Double bounce

Create two pitches on either side of the court near a wall, each with two equal areas. Two players from one team stand in one half of the pitch and then two players from the other team in the other half of the pitch. The team in possession throws the ball against the wall to bounce it into the enemy's area. The ball must bounce at least once inside the opposition's area. If the ball bounces twice in this area the throwing team wins a point. Play first to 10 before rotating the teams.

Somewhere a rope is tied to the wall or something else.The dog should hold this rope and he must 'bite' other players by touching them.The dog should be able to reach all of the field.Make field as large as the dog can reach.Inside the field aere several cones the dog should protect, other players try to rob the cones without being touched. Mind the rope !!Players who have been touched may continue playing.How many players can the dog 'bite' in 45 seconds ?

Two equal numbered teams play against each other with normal rules.The only additional rule is that at no stage may a team be ahead more then 1 goal. So at 1-0 the team who are ahead have to keep possession until the end of the game.Only if the opposition scores may they try to score again.Play this way with 5-10 minute games with regular break.

One-Two Pass and Shoot 314 cen...

Players stand in line waiting their turn to attack. The first player passes to player two in the middle who plays an immediate ball back into the path of the player who passed to them. This player should then catch the ball and shoot with a center shot on goal. Variations : - center shot when running - center shot hip height - center shot knee height   First without a defender, later with a passive defender who only shows the attacker where to throw : defender has hands high --> attacker should decide for a shot at hip of knee height. Defender has hands low --> attacket decedis to throw with a high shoulder height center shot or running shot.

Attacker throws the ball to feeder player in the middle. They then run forward and feint past the defender without the ball before running the other way around the receive the return ball back from the feeder. The attacker then finishes the move with a shot on goal.

Players work in groups of three with one ball per group. The worker (player 2) passes the ball to the feeder (player 1) and then follows their pass, looping behind the feeder. Once they are behind the feeder they then call for the return pass which they then offload to the next player in line. Drill continues in this way.

The feeder in the center of the court plays the ball left and then right into the paths of the running attackers. The first wide defender goes to meet the ball straight away with the second, central, defender coming to cover and support the other defender after the attacker has crossed the 9m line. The drill ends when the ball is taken by the defender or after the attacker's shot on goal.

One vs One - Defensive rotatio...

The attacking players take it in turns to run at their defenders, either on the left or the right, with the ball in hand. When they reach the defender they must try and take on their man, if they get past they may have a shot on goal. The defenders regularly change position, taking it in turns to try and dispossess the attacker.

Make a square by putting 4 cones at a distance of at least 20 mtrs apart and put an extra one in the center.<BR><BR> Start at a signal of the trainer. Run run to the cone in the center and back to your own cone, run AROUND it.<BR><BR> variations :<BR> - running<BR> - running, swinging right arm forward<BR> - running, swinging left arm forward, <BR> - running, swinging right arm backward <BR> - running, swinging left arm backward<BR> - running, swinging both arms forward<BR> - running, swinging both arms backward<BR> - sidesteps<BR> - sidesteps + half a turn after 3 sidesteps<BR> - sidesteps + swinging arms<BR> - running : lifting up knees high<BR> - running : heels to bottom<BR> - hop-scotch left<BR> - hop-scotch right<BR> - hop-scotch left-left-right-left-left etc<BR> - skate-run : left-right slightly sideward as if you were skating<BR> - hopping on both legs<BR> - hop on two legs : one forward, one short one backwards and right away forward with a big jump again<BR> - sideward : one leg behind the other : crossing over<BR> - running : + 3 jumps vertically at the cones

Players play a one-two pass with the middle man. When they receive the return ball players should use their two steps to get around the middle player (using a fake/feint). After their second step players pass to the next player in the opposite line and then join the back of that line. Drill continues in this way.

Players go towards the goal in pairs. Player 1 starts with the ball and passes to player 2. After passing they then sprint to the edge of the shooting circle, looking to receive the return pass. Player 2 then runs on, looking to draw the defender towards them. Once the defender has been drawn away from player 1 they then play the pass giving player 1 the chance to shoot unopposed on goal.

Players dribble one after another around to the throw off line and they dribble along this line towards the center. When the trainer blows his whistle the player suddenly changes direction to the goal and shoots at the goal.

Player 1 passes left to player 6 (in the goal area) and then runs out to receive the return pass. After receiving the ball player 1 must feint their way past the static defender (player 2) onto their throwing side (right handers - right side). Once they have got round the defender they pass to the next player in line who repeats this drill (passing left to player 5).

Blue players 1, 2 and 3 stand in a line with a supply of ball to try and feed to blue player 4. The defending player (Red 1) must stay in front of the receiving player and mirror their movement across the court, preventing as many balls as possible from reaching blue player 4. The receiving player must change pace and direction in order to lose their marker but they are not allowed to step in front of the defender.

Left-handers should shoot with their right foot in front, right-handers shoot with their left foot in front As you wind up to shoot get your hand at the same height as your shoulder and then pull the ball backwards. Your forearm should form a 90 degree angle with upper-arm Hip turns backwards together with the hand behind the ball with your fingers slightly spread. The third and final step involves moving forwards with a large and explosive drive - planting the 'weak' foot in the direction of the goal as the hand, arm and hips move forwards in the final movement.
