Hi everyone, i would like to know how can i improve my jump shoot from both left and right inter positions.also, how can i be more explosive when crossing my opponent?? thanks..
Two different techniques :
1. How to cross (get past) an opponent : explosive horizontal movement 2. How to improve jumpshot : explosive vertical movement
1. feint and cross opponent
- when training: do everything at 100%
- use right techniques
- second step forward should be most explosive
- increase your explosive powers by doing some series of jumps every training after a good warming-up : skate jumps, hop-scotch jumps (jump on one leg) : horizontal explosive jumps on one leg. 3 series of 8 consecutive jumps to start with.
- during shooting drills in training : before you go and shoot : make 4 skate jumps and then start to shoot at goal.
2. improve jumpshot high :
- when training: do everything at 100%
- use right techniques
- second step forward should be most explosive in vertical direction
- increase your explosive powers by doing some series of jumps every training after a good warming-up : skate jumps, hop-scotch jumps : vertical explosive jumps on one leg. 3 series of 8 consecutive jumps to start with.
- during shooting drills in training : before you go and shoot : make 4 hop-scotch jumps and then start to shoot at goal.
- try to do jumpshots as often as possible. You cannot improve if you make only 10 shots at the goal every training : Make as many as possible
Good luck!
