Netball: new

I am new to coaching this year and have a couple of girls who struggle to catch the ball despite 3 yrs of playing. One is quite scared and the other does not have good gross motor skills. Any suggestions on drills or games to improve these?

Hi I have now two new girls that havent played before what is the best position to put them in until I know where they are best suited. I have been coaching for a year and a half (Under 11s) team of 9.  The new girls will attend one training session before the first game.

I am Father coaching my Daughters Netball Team & I wanted to use a different set up when Taking the Centre Pass to Start ,so I need to know where the GA,WA,WD & GD are allowed to stand when a Centre pass is being taken?DO they need to stand at the line as normal or can I change it up a bit?-Say one player up at line in the very centre of line and one player standing or running around behind in the centre of their Third?? Any help with this idea would be greatly appreciated...& thanks in advance

I have two brand new player to introduce to a year 5 team. Both new players are very shy and seem afraid to get involved in the game. How do I build their confidence and what positions would be best to introduce them to? Thanks

Hi,We're halfway through the competition and our team was undefeated. Secretly we were already thinking of playing in the finals. We've just learned that our District has upgraded us to the next higher grade. We'll be at such a disadvantage not knowing any of the teams. Also all the teams in our previous grade had byes and so we've played 5 games and had 1 bye. The teams in our new grade have had no byes and have played 6 games. So the next team up (also undefeated) has 18 points but we have 15 points. Seems an unfair advantage to me. Is there a way to adjust for the bye we've had?Lastly, our next game is against the team that is at the top of the ladder. What can we do to be as best prepared as we can be? Many thanks in advance!

At the start of season what should a coach say to her new team. what thing's should a coach expect of her team?

I am a new coach who has a team of 8 under 9’s. 4 have played before 4 have not. How should I rotate them so they all get a equal time on court and should I put the same player all in attack for the whole game and all in defense for the whole game to make it less confusing for them. HiMy card was compromised so I had to ask it to be cancelled by the bank and they have sent a new one but I cannot delete the old card from your records inorder to to add the new. Can you please help. I am due to pay again on 11th March 2022.Sally

hi, i am new to coaching and our girls are only 7, this is their first season and are playing Netta Netball which is a slight variation to netball, ie, lower goal post, how do i teach them to get in front or to get the ball if their girl is a lot taller, they need to learn defending and getting in front to get the ball but dont know how to explain to them.

Do you have to teach the full game or do can you play in mini teams eg 4 groups of 6 without using bibs and positiions. I only have 4 weeks to teach it and they are still practising passing and catching skills, can anyone help please?
