I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
Hi this is not exactly a coaching question more of a plea for help. I live in Cornwall, England and do some coaching for my local primary school. I am desperate to get myself some official coaching sessions i.e netball 1 and 2 coaching. I dont know where to go for funding??? No joy with school sports coordinator. Has anybody got any suggestions please. I really want to give these children some good positive coaching skills.
I assistant coach a year 5 team who have horrible core strength and they can not do planks and apparently 'sit ups are too easy' and they can't do push ups. What can i do to give them more core strength??
I coach a team of 14/15 year old girls and we have been placed in a higher grade than we are supposed to be in. We are half way through the season and still haven't won a game. I'm stumped for ideas of what to do and need some assistance.
What are some good things to say to a team who are losing by a fair amount at halftime.?? They are 12 years old. How can i get them to keep motivated & not give up??
Hi guys I'm doing my face to face development course in a few weeks time!! Nervous. Any tips or advice on what to expect. The skill I've selected to show is the double dodge, should I also prepare another just incase? Thanks Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
My associate coach and I disagree on whether U/10s should play different positions or focus/settle on one, maybe two. I don't want to put the girls in a box at such a young age but I also don't want a Jack of all Trades situation. They are still developing so much that I feel I'll be doing them a disservice by just putting them in the same position every week. The assistant coach says if we move them around we're not going to do as well but that is where the participation vs performance comes in for me. Surely at this age development is more important than winning? No coach likes to lose but I don't want to win at the expense of them experiencing different positions. What do you guys suggest? Thanks in advance! A Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
I have completed my first weekend of this course and soon to do the second which involves planning and running a 20 min session, I don't know where to start, can anyone help who has done this course please
I'm coaching 9-10 year olds. We are in a development level before heading to juniors next year. Our team is made up of different levels of netball skills and knowledge of the game. I struggle to cater for all levels as we only practice once a week and they are still at development level. 5 players have 4 years + netball experience with a higher skill set and always wanting a challenge. 2 players who know the basic and this is there 2nd year. my last 2 players who don't know anything and this is there first time playing. Need ideas??
How I can translate the application to Arabic language
My laptop died mid session plan, when i've plugged it back in its disappeared - any idea where this can be restored?
How can you make under 13s, under 15s, and under 17s training different as some players play on more than 1 team.
I have coached for the past 2 seasons, with my teams not having a lot of success. I am hoping that I can coach again for a third season. I want to improve my coaching skills and knowledge over the offseason, so if I am given the chance I can be the best coach that I can be and hopefully lead a team to success.
Hi guys. So I've been coaching for 3 years. The same bunch of girls since they were 7-8 years old. I'm coaching then again this year which is great. But I've also just been approached in coaching the under 12's development rep team. Just wondering what I'm in for, as I haven't been given a lot of information as yet. Hi guys Iâm a Development netball coach. But my daughter is also playing U11âs Development for her association that Iâm involved in also. I donât coach her for several reasons.. My issue is that her development coach has really pigeoned holed her in WA for the best part of the season.. she is a very strong WA but she can play C, WD just as well if not better.. also these girls should be able to play/understand all positions on court due to player rotations in the normal teams. Itâs very hard to watch at times. Iâm not sure how to approach her coach or not. Or how to talk to her about it also without her thinking Iâm been awful. I have thought about speaking to our ADO... help me out Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
