The player stands on the baseline and the coach feeds high ball. The player moves forward and hits forehand in the air to the ad side.

The player serves from the Deuce side, aiming for the body of the imaginary opponent. The coach then feeds the ball to the player's backhand side. The player then has to hit an aggressive forehand inside out by running around to get into position to hit the shot.

The player hits a serve to either the ad or deuce side. The coach, who is in front of the player, then feeds him/her a low ball. The player has to react quickly after the serve and hit consistently low and flat returns over the net.

Player performs a regular serves. The goal of this exercise is for the player to land on his/her front foot and maintain balance on one leg after the serve. The back foot should be in the air.

Players will be fed 2-6 balls each. The balls are hit down the line into the target area as marked by the cones. The feeding can be varied i.e. higher, faster or with more spin.

Coach feeds short balls to one side. Player alternates between aggressive drive and drop shot.

Coach stands in front of the player and feeds random balls (Forehand, Backhand, Low, Short, Deep etc). Player has to react and adjust to incoming balls.

Coach hits a variety of shots including :- Top Spin Slice Lob Drives The player has to say aloud which shot it will be as soon as they see it, which could be before the ball is struck.

Coordination / Fun Games

Toss Variety - Kick Serve

Player learns how to toss the ball into the proper spot. Coach stands on the right of the player (slice serve) or on the left of the player (kick serve). Player tries to toss the ball into the coach's hand. Players have to be able to vary the toss according to the serve they want to execute. Slice, kick serve and flat serves require slightly different tosses to make chances bigger for effective results. For the kick serve, toss to the left side is a necessity to successfuly deliver the ball with high and unexpected bounce. Hitting from the left to the right will add spin responsible for ball bounces to the right side. Tossing the ball to the left helps also with contacting the ball at lower point (in opposite to any other serve) which has an impact on loopy trajectory of the serve.

Toss Variety - Slice

Player learns how to toss the ball into the proper spot. Coach stands on the right of the player (slice serve) or on the left of the player (kick serve). Player tries to toss the ball into the coach's hand. Players have to be able to vary the toss according to the serve they want to execute. Slice, kick serve and flat serves require slightly different tosses to make chances bigger for effective results. For the slice serve, players have to learn how to toss the ball slightly to the right side to have possibility to hit outside of the ball and create sidespin. It will also force players to go more across the body with the racquet what will result in better angles.
