Catch the lizards tails

All players get a ribbon which should be put at the backside into everybody's shorts. So everybody is a lizard. All players try to get as many tails as he can in 45 seconds. Lizards who lose their tails can get another one from the trainer.

Players make small groups of 3 players.One player is outside the circle and may shout to a certain group : come along or Go away.After doing this the player and the group start running along the complete circle until they come back at their original place.The player who is last has to go outside and challenge another group.variations :starting positions :- sitting on knees- sitting on bottoms- lying on back- lying on tummy

Cross the line

In the goal area players are static and dribbling the ball on the spot. When the trainer blows their whistle the players must try to dribble the ball across a certain line without being tackled. Defenders must try to prevent players from getting past them.

Pushing through

Players take it in turn to run and squeeze through the small openings between the blue players, being strong to drive through the blocking man.Blue players must keep their arms down when blocking the running man and only use their core strength to prevent the man running through (no shoulder barges).

Players stand and move in one line.Hands to shoulders or hands on hips of player in front of you.There is one tag man who tries to tag the last player of the queue.Other players move in such a way that it becomes difficult for the tag man.variations :- change the last person of the group every time he gets tagged- change after 1 minute- make the queue shorter

Tag the circle man

Four players form a circle, hands tight.A tag man appoints a person he wants to tag. The circle moves in such a way that the person he wants to tag stays out of reach.

The monkey and his coconut

In a circle there is a ball.The trainer appoints a player as the guard of the ball.Other players do not know who this guard is.Another player must try to rob the coconut.The guard (monkey) may only start running when the other player touches the ball.Appoint a new guard every time.Variations :- more balls- more guards- more robbers

Somewhere a rope is tied to the wall or something else.The dog should hold this rope and he must 'bite' other players by touching them.The dog should be able to reach all of the field.Make field as large as the dog can reach.Inside the field aere several cones the dog should protect, other players try to rob the cones without being touched. Mind the rope !!Players who have been touched may continue playing.How many players can the dog 'bite' in 45 seconds ?

Who is back first ?

Players are in a circle.Pairs are opposite eachother and get the same number.When the trainer calls out a number, the pair in question sprint to the ball and try to get it before the other one of the pair does.Variations - just touch the ball and sprint back : Who is back first ?- run backwards back to your position- hop one one leg to the ball and back- make the distance to the ball larger, shorter

5 vs 5 game (can be played with or without goals).Game 1:Possession keeping game where all passing is with the hands by throwing and catching. Teams score a point for every 10 passes they make without losing the ball.Game 2:Alternatively you can play this game with goals. All passes must be made with the hands (players can't run with the ball in hand) and players can only score with a header.

Left-handers should shoot with their right foot in front, right-handers shoot with their left foot in front As you wind up to shoot get your hand at the same height as your shoulder and then pull the ball backwards. Your forearm should form a 90 degree angle with upper-arm Hip turns backwards together with the hand behind the ball with your fingers slightly spread. The third and final step involves moving forwards with a large and explosive drive - planting the 'weak' foot in the direction of the goal as the hand, arm and hips move forwards in the final movement.

Players run one after the after moving with ball. As they are running with the ball they should try to stay within one meter of the player in front of them. The coach can dictate what players are doing as they run around the cones.

Center shot when running : lef...

Two lines on both sides of the court with one return pass player stood further up the court in the middle. Players run with the ball and play a one-two pass with the central player. As they receive the ball again they immediately shoot on goal. After shooting players run to the back of the opposite line to practice throwing from the other side.

Simple fast break drill with two lines of players (one on each side) and a feeder/coach standing in the middle. The player at the front of the line passes the ball to the feeder in the middle and then sprints towards the goal. The feeder returns the ball, passing the ball in front of the runner, for them to run onto and shoot with a quick center shot! The attackers should go all the way to the goal line. Low shots are more effective!!

Players all dribble with a ball each around the cones. Players start by running up the edges of the court and then run diagonally from the top cones to the opposite baseline corner. Drill continues in this way.

The first player sets off and runs as quickly as possible through the slalom. When they reach the end they must dash across the front of the D to try and block the first red player's shot. After this it's a straight sprint - up to the first cone, down, up and then to the back of the shooting player's line.
