Handball is a teamsport so most of the work must be done with other players as you have to play together!
Things you can do on your own are physical training : stamina (running long distances) - running /sprinting short distances (2 series of 5 sprints of 40 mtrs) - jumping - throwing and agility training.
For the rest you need at least one extra player to act as a defender or attacker.
