I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
what drills can you use for driving onto the ball
In netball, my team is struggling to bring the ball up to the attackers through the middle third. We are struggling with the turnover from an interception. Can anyone give me any idea's for drills or tactics to help with this? Thanks, Laura Bevans x
Does anyone have any exercises or drills to stop an entire team of girls from passing the ball to the defenders instead of their own team mates...? THey can all throw a pass to each other in training, I've tried adding pressure situations where they have defenders to evade to replicate the real game but in games they cannot seem to get it together...help!
I'm a fast runner and keep getting pulled for footwork as I'm catching the ball whilst running. How can I train myself to jump for the ball?

After my opponent release the ball can I use my body but not arms to block in front of her so as to prevent her from going to the front?( In centre third) If the opponent just run ahead and crash on the defender, is it a contact?Or in fact the action of the defender preventing the attacker to run towards goal third is obstruction or a rule called" causing contact"?
We need to practice our goal line throw as an attacking thrown because ares is getting intercepted is there any pointers we can use
Hi I coach a great team of under 9s and when we do a driving drill we start with "pitter patter feet" (like a very fast low jog on spot) then when i say GO they drive forward. However a lot of them step back with their foot then drive forward. Any tricks out there to get just going forward? Is it just the foot they start on like the strong foot? Or something else?
How can I improve my explosive strength in order to jump higher and intercept more?
I'm looking for specific drill (attack & defense) for the Centre position. This is what I play and need all the skills to tactically assist my game.

I am trying to get them to learn:1) How to get them to work as a team2) How to look for the person without their player3) How to stay in front of their playerand 4) how to not clump.I know that that is a lot of things but where do I start and how do I start? Any answers are much appreciated!!!!Thanks so much!!!!!!!!

Should you have your most accurate shooter playing GS and the other playing in GA? If the other player struggles a bit to move around the circle is it best for her to play GA so that she is driving onto the ball when entering the circle
