I have thoroughly enjoyed using your site to help me with my coaching plans for my under 9's netball team.
I'm coaching u/10's and have an excellent A team, but the B team have learners who haven't been playing netball so long. Does anyone have one or two basic activities, easy to understand (for them) which I can drill them with for passing, defending and getting free, as well as something for the shooters. They are always all over the place (we do practice channels) and really struggle to get free - they run a bit and then just stop to wait for the ball. Anything, even just some advice would be appreciated! :)

Hi Please help me, My Daughter played GS most of the time - last year the coaches played with her on several position in field, This year she plays GA but she seems to be taking to long to come open or she is to fast, and the defenders picks up on her movements and it's position overturned... How can I help her with timing?

How do you beat a player that is blocking/face defending an attacker who is finding it hard to get free? Particularly when they are trying to go forward into the space for the ball.
What are ways you can fire up your team before taking the court? during our warm up we seem pumped and ready to go, but soon as the whistle goes we seem to be extremely flat and make way too many mistakes. we are a strong team but we have to play catch up because of our first quarter. are there certain things we can add into our warm up to make sure we are all ready to go? or does anyone have a good speech that always say before a game starts?
Does anyone have any tips / ideas / drills on getting players to talk to each other during game play... not just calling for the ball when making a lead but directing play too? I have a team of mixed experience but when they play in a game you can almost hear a pin drop! Any advice?!
How can I work around in the team on court to get the ball to the shooter really easily?
Hi everyone, I'm a GS/GA and I shoot well but I struggle to make opportunities for myself to shoot in games. It is slightly better when I play GS if i stay in the circle, but when I play GA or come out, it has happened that I haven't shot at all. I either get blocked from going in the circle straight away or am too slow to position myself. Could anyone give me some pointers about basic movement? I have watching videos where players roll/cut - if a player is marking you face on and blocking you from entering the D, would that be how I get around them? What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
