I have been told that it is ok for WD to use their far arm, palm facing outwards across the WA, yet other coaches have questioned it as obstruction ?
I coach 11 year olds. Let's say our GK secures a rebound, pivots and looks to pass to WD who is holding her position on the circle edge (leaving no space for anyone to get in front of her).Is the WA from the other team allowed to then place her outside foot in between our WDs feet and effectively bully / push her way so that half her body is in front of our WD? WHICH DRILL IS MOST EFFECTIVE IN GETTING THE BALL TO THE SHOOTING CIRCLE USING LESS PASSES
Hello - i am looking for a few GD tips on the best way to defend a shooter that receives the ball a couple of ways as i always struggle to get around them when they do these moves! First way is that the shooter lunges out very wide (practically doing the splits) to receive the ball from the feeder on the circle edge and steps back closer to the net with the foot that is closest. I can defend her getting close to the net, but then she turns to the feeder and jumps and splits - thus always ending up close to the net. The second way is when the shooter stays quite stationery under the net, a couple of foot off the back line and holds her space there. she receives the ball by a large over head pass, so she steps back slightly on one leg to receive the ball from the feeder. what would be the best way to defend all the large overhead long passes to her, or draw her out? any help or some ideas i can try would be great! thank you :-)
Hi,I am finding it really difficult to get one of my shooters out the habit of trying to shoot every shot from the outer edge of the circle with not a very good success rate. She doesn't seem to see or want to understand that a pass would be more beneficial, has anyone had similar issues or have any suggestions to get rid of this attitude and mindset. My defenders are having a lot of trouble getting the ball in from out of court. 1 issue is the goal keep really struggles with quick decision making autistic) thinking of trying gd throw in instead as we seem to llose the ball every time. Any advice would b appreciated (8-10 yr olds age of team)
My WD asked me how she defend better around the circle does anyone have any ideas that may help with this...thanks

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
