Any advice on uncontested line out variations?
what should the team layout be for under 9s should it be 4 forwards 5 backs and should we play like 7s
I would like some help/drills to help me introduce U9's to positions ie%3A start playing in set positions during a game ie forwards/backs. Up til now they have not had set positions & its been everyone follow the ball. I need to get them to understand & keep to positions during a game.

Following on from Question about U10 Lineouts - Is it allowable for players at this age to practice the lift in training? I dont think its advisable for a match situation at this age but would like to start coaching it now so as to give development time.
Any thoughts on a condiioned game where the emphasis is on lineouts and in particular to coach a peel

Hi, Iâm coaching under 9s next year which involves tackling, mauls, rucks etc. Iâm after advise on what to coach first and the amount of time spent on each area. Added to this Iâve somehow become the lead coach after a couple of coaches stepped down (feeling a little under pressure!) I am a coach with an under 10 rugby side. Last season the team found it hard to stay in their positions (acting like a swarm of bees). Can anyone suggest how i can get them to stay in positions, particulary our backs.

Hi, I'm coaching my second team union (as i have injured my knee and cant play for the next few months) and the team consists of mainly league players, so they are rugby minded but will need help getting to grips with union - lineouts scrums when to and not to kick where to kick to etc. Any tips / ideas would be great.

Line-outs - scenario is that in a line out, the lifters hold the jumper up for a lengthy time - is there a law or regulation covers this? Should the lifters/jumper be allowed to do this or should he be lifted and lowered immediately upon receipt of the ball? Thanks

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
