Netball: losing the opposition

Does anyone have any exercises or drills to stop an entire team of girls from passing the ball to the defenders instead of their own team mates...? THey can all throw a pass to each other in training, I've tried adding pressure situations where they have defenders to evade to replicate the real game but in games they cannot seem to get it together...help!

coaching u13s have 6 good players and 2 that this their first season.For this first half of the season most of their training has been catching and throwing .I find that they are not improving so on game days the other players are reluctant to pass it to them as they either drop the ball or pass it to the opposition.I am struggling to know what to do 

My associate coach and I disagree on whether U/10s should play different positions or focus/settle on one, maybe two. I don't want to put the girls in a box at such a young age but I also don't want a Jack of all Trades situation. They are still developing so much that I feel I'll be doing them a disservice by just putting them in the same position every week. The assistant coach says if we move them around we're not going to do as well but that is where the participation vs performance comes in for me. Surely at this age development is more important than winning?No coach likes to lose but I don't want to win at the expense of them experiencing different positions. What do you guys suggest? What is the best way for players 11-13 to mitigate the affect of open players using their elbows. It is brought to the umpires attention and they do their best. However, I have in the last few weeks heard 2 different coaches (when I was observing games - hence I could hear the coach) give instructions to her players to "use elbows and intimidate". Seems a growing trend based on what a lot of players are doing on court in a range of teams. Defensively my players are starting to shy away from staying close to their oppn player. When on attack - I tell them to keep moving so the oppn defense can't set up on them and use the elbow. The poor GS particularly is getting really knocked about a lot of time as she is trying to execute a hold sometimes.

Lately my players have been passing to the other team. Their timing is off and their play is way to fast down court.

How do you beat a player that is blocking/face defending an attacker who is finding it hard to get free? Particularly when they are trying to go forward into the space for the ball.

Help, dad thrown in the deep end - what basic attacking strategies do you use for 11 years olds? They have great skill and have played since they were 5 years old, but still run around like headless chickens, everyone calling for the ball and getting in each other's way. Is there a method to this madness I can teach? Some teams look like they know who is going to pass to who and the ball gets from one end to the other fluidly. Hi there, I coach an under 10 netball team and have rotated the team fairly throughout the season. We have now qualified for finals and am wondering if I should play my strongest team?

I coach a team of 14/15 year old girls and we have been placed in a higher grade than we are supposed to be in. We are half way through the season and still haven't won a game. I'm stumped for ideas of what to do and need some assistance. 

Hi, does anybody know exactly where the coaches are allowed to stand during a game? I have asked a few people already and they are not 100% sure . It would be great if anyone has the correct answer to this and/or where I could find it? Thanks

Help me please, I am coaching 11 yrs and have one member of my team who is making nasty comments towards most of my other team members, before I am forced to raise this issue with her parent (who is never in attendance, only drop off and pick up, and I dont think she would be the easiest parent to deal with either) I am hoping someone can give me some ideas on how to deal with this, should I ask her to sit out or should I try to include her more to force a better relationship, when I have asked her if we can make an effort to play as a team she is clearly telling me, Its not her fault and that she is reacting to others, but i know this is not true, I dont think she will except she is doing anything wrong, if fact she is my biggest trouble maker when it comes to talking, not litening and being disrespectful, to me her team and once even an umpire (at training) HELP PLEASE its upsetting my girls %3A(

How is the best way to defend a GS who is a foot taller than the GK and can hold faily well (and no exageration I have a very short team so putting a different defender wont change much )
