Can I suggest you have a search field where we can enter a hockey terminology and a list of links relating to that item is available to view. e.g. sweeping, Squeeeze hit, forehand dribble etc.
I can find lots of defensive drills, but am not sure which would be best for defending the left channel.

My son has been given the role of sweeper in a team that has only won twice in two years. He is probably the weakest player in the team. What advice can I give him to think about when playing, so that he can improve and enjoy a personal sense of achievement. In training sessions I have never seen any drills designed to organise the defence which is amazing since the teams ambition is usually to keep the goals against to single figures! Are there standard apporoaches as to how close to be to the player you are marking or which side to stand to stop the attacker getting free with the ball on his open stick?.
Bram. I have a question on your answer about defending the left channel. Over the years I've heard various different views on how to defend the left channel. You answer suggest forcing the attacker on to the strong side where an inside defender can provide a cover tackle if necessary. Fine. Other rhetoric suggests keeping the attacker wide and restricting the route to goal. For me, your suggestion offers the greatest risk. Can you provide some perspective of these two approaches.
I coach a ladies two side, our defesive players are all rather slow on their feet due to age, injuries etc, this isn't to bad against slow attacking teams however we are now playing very fast forwards, how can my slower defensive players combat this.

Ideas on drills to get defenders to go to the player or the ball not waiting for them to come to them.
I want to make my own collection of drills that I like but would like to have them organized (warmup, forehand, backhand,...). How can I do that?I can't find a way to add drills to my folders and when adding them to my favorites list, there is no way of organizing them

Wow what a great website, I have found sportplan an important tool for me when planning my netball sessions with my netball team. I have been using Sportplan now for 3 years and can honestly say that I have never repeated the same session twice. My girls are always focused and are improving every year. Thanks Sportplan.
What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
I can't get enough of the Sportplan, It has given me back the enthusiasm i was starting to lose. My girls are so keen and are ready at 14 to take the next up in their game. Sportplan will help no end.
