Quick feeding into circle
My WD has worked hard on getting her placement so when the ball is feeding into the circle, she is keeping her WA away and to the side, generally the WA is fed an overhead ball heading towards the the back corner. The WD knows what pass is coming, and it's placement, she feels confident she could challenge more, so need some drills to practise holding her player, but then moving round her opponent at the last moment to try and go for the ball as well as holding.
how to get into the goal circle when shooters are being zoned out
to know what i should do and what type of training should i do
Hi there,Anyone got any good tips for someone who plays C or Wa? Anything will be good, anything that will help me!!
I have a new player and we don't have a WD so I was thinking to put her into a WD.
How do you deal with failure after a netball game or a really hard training session? How would you approach your coach-team players and most importantly yourself? How do you move forward?Nicole Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
Hi Everyone I've been playing defence for a long time now, and only last Saturday did I start to play centre. It was during our warm up on that day, (before our game) when my coach told me that I would be playing centre. I agreed to do it, but the problem was that the other team was a really good and very fit team. I struggled a lot durig the game, and i felt like i was dying the whole time! Also because I had never played centre before I didn't know how to feed the ball into the goal circle. I also don't know how to defend on the goal circle. Also what is the centres main job? Thanks so much for all the help! Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
Our new season starts in September. When planning do coaches plan for the entire season? The first four sessions? The first three months? Also do you start with maybe four sessions on defence then four on attack? Or do you mix it up?
HI EveryoneI recently switched from GK AND GD, to WA. I'm finding it difficult to feed the ball into the circle and having confidence in my passing accuracy. I'm also having trouble on getting free for centre pass, especially when the other team has a really good WD. I've only played WA a couple of times so I'm still learning, but I really don't want to let my team down. Thanks all, for the help!
(I dont usually play WD,so i`m still getting used to the position. When defending the WA at the centre pass, should i be on the inside or the outside of my player on the line?). How do i defend on the goal circle and try and get intercepts?when should i leave my player and try and go for an intercept?
Goalies are practicing but game day percentage are lower due to increase in pressure. Also need to penetrate ring deeper for higher percentage shots. Need feeders working harder to help goalies get better position Any drills would be helpful ðð Asked using Sportplan Mobile App

WHICH DRILL IS MOST EFFECTIVE IN GETTING THE BALL TO THE SHOOTING CIRCLE USING LESS PASSES

I have found I tend to repeat myself a lot when it comes to the break times. I actually had a mental block in what to say in one game at 3 quarter time & felt like a real fool. I feel I am letting the girls down. I guess my nerves kicked in.My team is a mixed bag of skills, they are 15, 16 year olds & we haven't won many games due to having to teach half the team basic skills to break bad habits. Yet I can't advance the skilful players. I do work on a positive mind etc as I find some don't have confidence in their ability. I haven't been trained as a coach, I look on sites like this one for help. I use to coach 4 years ago primary age teams & we were very successful but we grew together over the years. With the teenagers & a different school I have found it more challenging & feel I maybe out of my depth & don't want to let the girls down.Does anyone have advice for me. thanks
