How do you get the shooters to passI have a 9 year old team and the shooter will not pass the ball and thinks that scoring the goals is important instead of playing as a team and getting closer to circle.
Does anyone have any tips / ideas / drills on getting players to talk to each other during game play... not just calling for the ball when making a lead but directing play too? I have a team of mixed experience but when they play in a game you can almost hear a pin drop! Any advice?!
when i asked my team (13 yr olds) what they thought they need to improve on, one of their answers was communication. what is an easy way to teach them to communicate with each other during the game?
Hi, I am struggling to locate some drills that I deliver on communication between my circle defensive unit. I have the forming a v around a single shooter with the back player directing the front defender. but maybe some space ownership drills would help with the communication and relationship between the players.I look forward to hearing some great ideas as always.Donna

The lead & drive drill looks good but does not add the 2nd centre which would obviously be standing in front of the GA, with the defence either side effectively blocking the GA off from advancing forward or sideways - any suggestions?

I am looking for pre game drill ideas. in half a hour we warm up with dynamic stretching. Ball handling/passing then 2 or 3 team drills. What drills do you recommend for adult top level drills?
Our School netball coach resigned last night. Help me please, I am coaching 11 yrs and have one member of my team who is making nasty comments towards most of my other team members, before I am forced to raise this issue with her parent (who is never in attendance, only drop off and pick up, and I dont think she would be the easiest parent to deal with either) I am hoping someone can give me some ideas on how to deal with this, should I ask her to sit out or should I try to include her more to force a better relationship, when I have asked her if we can make an effort to play as a team she is clearly telling me, Its not her fault and that she is reacting to others, but i know this is not true, I dont think she will except she is doing anything wrong, if fact she is my biggest trouble maker when it comes to talking, not litening and being disrespectful, to me her team and once even an umpire (at training) HELP PLEASE its upsetting my girls %3A(
How do you teach GK and GD to talk? I know I need to teach my 14yr olds to communicate in the circle, but what exactly should they be saying? And how do I teach them to switch partners in the circle when they need to rather than getting caught out focussing too much on one player? They're an awesome pair, and I think if we can address these two issues, they will be scary good. Thanks for any help. Heather.
I am coaching a team of 8-9yr olds one of which is deaf. I am having problems getting anything to help me with this. Also I am wanting to print off some simple warmup drills eg basic run to first third walk back knees up walk back etc but have picturs for her aswell, but the session planner is more advance than this- I am wanting to do the same warm up for the start of each training and game. Any help ould be fantastic!!!

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
