The lead & drive drill looks good but does not add the 2nd centre which would obviously be standing in front of the GA, with the defence either side effectively blocking the GA off from advancing forward or sideways - any suggestions?
This is a version of a split lead with pass going to second offer e.g. WA. This set up works best for GA & WA to be off the line pulling GD & WD back with them and leaving defending C thinking about what she should do.
Double defence on GA (first dummy drive) is the outcome required to allow WA to drive in unopposed with WD trailing behind.
As with all set plays practice, communication & timing are everything. Routines need to be constantly varied to beat the oppositions reactions with players always ready to make a second offer if needed.

Set plays are great as long as they are not done every time as the opposition team will quickly come up with a way to shut it down, and then you wont be able to use it again with that team. its also good to use when you need to get the ball off the center break, (ie a tight game) so set plays need to be used wisely, and as already described above, with good communication and timing.
