Grass root level training

I am planning to train my 4 year old daughter as she shows some interest in Cricket. She is connecting and hitting the ball well (of course with bottom hand like an axe)when I throw the ball along through the ground. What are the things I can teach her in this early age? Indoor Fielding Drills

Hi...just looking for suggestions as to which would be good indoor fielding drills to mix up indoor net sessions. We'll probably have half a sports hall with max 20 players - mixed abilities. Cheers

Help kids judge line better

I'm thinking about of a few ideas that can help the kids judge line a bit better. Wanted to get your thoughts. Drill: 3 stumps + 1 on 4th stump and 1 on leg side wide. I will then toss the ball at the various lines and the kids can then call out what stump the line of the ball was traveling in.Progression could be tossing the ball and they have to move into the correct line and catch the ball and then from there a few throw downs.Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Carl

40 boys cricket session | Spor...

Hi Guys. I need to teach a cricket lesson to 40, 11 yr old students with a range of abilities in a sports hall. Need focus as well. I need them all continuosly engaged and all have the opportunity to learn and develop. At the moment i'm thinking starting with fielding games and making them competitive and them moving onto small group exercises of 3's or 4's focusing on one batting shot. I'm open to any ideas and any help of teaching 40 students at once? Thank you for your time and suggestions!

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
