Variations warming up goalkeepers : Players must throw in a way the goalkeeper get the opportunity to block the balls. series of all players in turn : - throw on goalkeeper's hands - left/right hand top corner - left/right shoulder height - left/right hip height - left/right knee height - left/right bounce pass - left/right bottom corners - free series Can be done with extra tasks for the players : - center shot - jump shot - center shot hip height - center shot when running With technical tasks for the players : - jump shot in 1 or 2 or 3 step rhythm. - jump off with two feet - jump off on 'wrong'leg with power training exercises : - hop on the same foot once, twice or three times before throwing (left or right foot) - hop on two feet once, twice or three times before throwing

Blue players must dribble up the pitch and around the cone before then turning sharply. Once they have turned they must then take on the defender with a feint or a dummy before finally throwing a shot at the goal.

Blue players try to score a goal in cooperation with pivot white 1. They are only allowed half of the circle.Defenders :- just let it happen- half active- fully match like

Players from both lines run forwards at the same time, with the ball carrier crossing over in front of the other player. When the players cross over they should switch the ball between them as at this point they are blocking the goal keeper's view. Once the other player has the ball they should shoot on goal before then collecting their ball and joining the back of the queue.

Players take it in turns to dribble out to their cone and then shoot at goal. They must shoot in such a way that it is possible for the keeper to block the ball.

Two teams, each with goalkeepers, play across a half-court sized pitch. Play with normal rules.

Set up your players up in three equal lines. Only the player at the start of line 1 has a ball. Blue 1 passes to blue 2 who then passes the ball to blue 3 who finished the move with a shot on goal. Every player joins the back of the next line after passing the ball.

Pass B1-B2-B3 who tries to get past defender red1.Same on the other side.

The players pass to the goalkeeper who then plays a return pass to the player who catches the ball and runs with it to the other end of the court.   Once they reach the other end they pass to the keeper and a new pair start the drill at the opposite end.

Goalkeepers sit opposite each other, with legs stretched sideways. They will give the ball to each other just over their feet, both stretching down with their upper bodies as wide as possible.

Goalkeeper stands on the goal line. A player throws two balls at the goal, which the goalkeeper tries to stop. He then sprints forward, touches the ball of the blue player, who throws it high over the goalkeeper's head into the goal. When the goalkeeper has touched the ball he jogs back to save the lobbed shot before it crosses the goal line. Once under control of the ball, he throws a fast break pass to one of the players half way up the court.

Players first go through the speedladder and then sprint around their group and then throw at the goal to warm up the goalkeeper. Players: give a good stoppable shot for the goalkeeper. Series of shots - on the hands

Form a queue in the corner and move towards goal, shooting at an angle. Throw balls which can be stopped by the goalkeeper. So make your players throw precisely and with not too much force.

All players are around the goal with a ball each. The goalkeeper is in the goal, facing it. The trainer points to someone to shoot. The trainer blows his whistle and the goalkeeper quickly turns around and stops the shot.

Player 1 runs towards goal, duels with the defender and tries to get a clear shot on goal. After shooting the first player rotates and becomes the defender for the next player. Meanwhile the defender receive the ball from the goalkeeper and dribbles all the way to the other end of the court where they will then get to have a shot on goal. After shooting the player will run to the mats/ benches/ cones and jump across the area and then jump across the second area before rejoining the back of the line.

Pass from A to B, from B to C, from C to E - either B-C or E throws at the goal.When one of the backcourt players shoots that is the signal for defender D1 and D2 to go for the fast break.Backcourt players who did not throw at the goal, turn around and sprints back to intercept the long pass.Goalkeeper throws long pass every time the same way and trains in this way B-C-E to go for the interception.Variations:- goalshot into the goal and goalkeeper has to pick up the ball first and throw the long pass.

Dribbling the ball, players take it in turns to run forward to the defender. When they get close (around 2-1 meters away) they should jump off, in front of the defender, and throw at the goal. Defender must try and block the shot.

1. 10 meter running:<br /><br />Between 2 lines spaced 10 metres apart get your keepers to run 2 sets of 6 runs.<br /><br />You can mix this up by getting players to run a mixture of -<br />Forward runs, Backward runs, Sprints, Side-steps and Crossovers<br /><br /> 2. Flexibility - Straddle stretch:<br /><br />Stand upright with arms out to the side and touch your left foot with your right hand and your right foot with your left arm. Players should keep their arms and legs straight and bend and rotate their torso to touch their feet. Repeat 10 times on both sides. <br /><br />Stand upright with arms slightly in front and out to the side. Keepers must raise their feet to try and touch their hands. Left foot to left hand and right foot to right hand. Repeat 10 times on both sides.<br /><br />3. Improving Reactions<br /><br />Player A stands behind player B who sits on the floor. Player B puts their arms out wide at shoulder height. Player A drops the ball in front of B, who must catch the ball with their legs. Repeat 10 times and then swap roles.<br /><br />Place two benches on their sides, with the top side in-court on a small playing area (approx 3-5 meters). <br /><br />A tries to score with a tennis ball by getting their balls to hit the flat side of the bench. B must try to block as many balls as possible. A throws 30 balls and then players swap roles. Which keeper has the better record?<br /><br />4. Power<br /><br />Get players to lie on the floor on their back. In this position players must sit up and touch their left foot with their right hand and then touch their right foot with their left hand. Repeat 15 times on each side.<br /><br />Squat down low and walk like a frog for 15 meters. Repeat 3 times.<br /><br />Hampelmann (jumping jacks - raise arms and legs). Try to raise the leg you jump off as high as possible. Repeat 5 times for - Hampelmann left, squat jump, Hampelmann right.

Players go through the ladder by stepping into every space with left and right foot after each other, in the way which is shown in the video.<br><br>

Players dribble one after another around to the throw off line and they dribble along this line towards the center. When the trainer blows his whistle the player suddenly changes direction to the goal and shoots at the goal.

Goalkeepers start on one side of the court and move forward to the other side. While doing so, they will act as if they have to stop high balls. Aim for 8 &quot;saves&quot; during each run, and players should go up and down the half court twice.
