DESCRIPTION

In groups of 4/5 Feeder starts with back to rest of players, throws ball in air to self and turns to set the timing Attacker drives towards the feeder to take the ball on the move - ball slightly lifted so that attacker is turning in air. Simultaneously there are 2 posts behind who are throwing another ball to one another. As the attacker turns in the air with their ball, they need to sight which of those posts does not have the ball and throw to them. The initial drive doesn't always need to be on the straight - it can also be at an angle. Be sure that they attempt turning in both directions and not just their preferred side. Variation/Progression: Have another player further down the court with a selection of different coloured cones. the attacking player needs to call the colour of the cone as well as throw their ball to the free post! Further progressions / variations: Back player with cones changes their position so that they are not always on the straight line. If they notice the attacker has a preferred/dominant way to turn, they could move towards non-dominat side to test them! Add in defender between the attacker and the posts to encourage the attacker to release ball early (before her eyes/body angle give away a clue where she may throw it)
