Netball Drill Demonstration

Description

  • Place one leg in front of the other and slightly bend your knees
  • Place the ball between your legs with one hand in front and one behind
  • Release the ball and step forward
  • Quickly switch hand positioning - the hand behind will go in front and vice versa 

Coaching points

  • Keep your knees slightly bent as this will allow you to extend your reach on the ball
  • You can get your players to work for a set time, number or reps or challenge them to do as many changes/as far as possible without a dropped ball
