Alicia James Teacher, Australia

DESCRIPTION

Description - 4 students are attackers with blue bibs on, 1 defender with a red bib on- The attackers are to ONLY chest pass the ball (netball) down the area to each other, keeping the ball away from the defender. (progress to a basketball = more force needed to throw, while still needing to focus on technique).- Once the ball reaches the end of the area, the ball must be caught by a player with at least one foot INSIDE one of the 3 hoops (to work on accuracy of the pass when throwing to an intended target)- The players can take as long as they like with as many passes as they need to get the ball to the hoops and past the defender, as long as they ONLY use chest passes (progress to a minimum amount of passes or add a time limit if original is achieved easily). - If another type of pass is thrown, the kids must take the ball back to that spot and try again- After each successful round OR when the defender gets/stops the ball, the defending player swaps out with one of the attackersNote, if a smaller group of the 4 attackers are excluding a player or only passing amongst a few of them, introduce the rule that each person must touch the ball once or twice before they can try receiving the ball in the hoop.
