Hi, my team is having issues breaking a defensive zone where the GD and GK sit high in our attack end and play an area rather than players, we tried manning up on them but just crowded the attack end and didn't work? If we lob over them the other defender drops back and picks up the intercept, same when we pass to the corners. Any advice will be gratefully received! Cheers Keli

How is the best way to defend a GS who is a foot taller than the GK and can hold faily well (and no exageration I have a very short team so putting a different defender wont change much )
The 163cm defender is great against regular height girls her age (ie 13) but I need some help with the tall girls (185 cm +). She jumps really well and is constantly with the player. She reads the play well but it is almost soul destroying to see the opposition lob the ball into the tall girl who stands and waits for the shot.
We have two tall goalkeepers which hold the space, does anyone have a game plan which suit two keepers who play similar games? They lack footwork and movement, and this needs improving!

How can I teach my players to defend against a very tall goal shooter?
I have short defenders and we will be playing a team in the finals that has a 6ft goalie. Looking for advise on the best way to stop the giant goalie.
Next week I'm due to play against two really talented defenders who are both very tall! One of them use to be my coach so I'm feeling the pressure- she's very quick and can push you to the edge of the circle well. What would be the best way to outwit her? I'm younger so I thought maybe my speed and fitness but I mainly play GS so I feel like I need something else?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am thinking of getting my defences to double team her but wanting to know best way to teach this & also what's the best way of stopping the GA (just getting WD & c to try & block her getting in the ring) any thoughts on best way to beat a tall shooter. I play school and state netball as a GK/GD, when my other player is defending the GS or GA, I hold on to her defenders leg/hand for an extra lean. Because I'm quite larger and taller than most girls and already have a pretty good lean, when I ask my defender to hold me so that i am closer to deflecting the shot, she uses two of her hands and her body strength to hold me. My coach told me not to do this because she believed I wasn't allowing myself nor my other player to get an intercept or rebound, even though we had gotten most rebounds and had gotten a few intercepts with this technique. Is this an disadvantage or advantage to us?

What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
