Starting with a lively warm-up before elaborating on this exercise, your players will need to be quick on their feet and fast thinking to make sure they don't hold the rest of their team up. Running around cones, with and without a ball, players will need to side-step, sprint and pass their way around the area. After this you will be able to divide your players into two teams and use friendly competition to get your players passing and running as fast as they possibly can.
Once you're players have completed this they will finish with a flurry, playing a half court game which will need them to put everything they've just done into practice. They'll need to keep the ball in their possession from the half-way line, avoiding ball turnover, all the way to the net if they want to stand any chance of scoring.
