I’m sure you all understand what I mean by faffing. It’s the unsure movement of players who stand behind their defenders and move from side to side a few times without actually committing to the pass. Faffing is a defenders dream as they don’t have as far to run to keep with the attacker.
So how do you stop faffing?
We need to teach players to commit to a ball and move in to a space so they are therefore a lot easier to see and pass a successful pass to.
