Netball: Passing circuit

Develop your player's ability to execute a strong, direct and accurate pass to help maintain possession of the ball.

Have two lines of players both stood behind a cone on the edge of the first third.

The red player starts with the ball. The blue player sprints to the cone on the baseline and receives the diagonal overhead pass from the red player.

Once they have received the ball the blue player then passes the ball to the next player in their team before sprinting the back of their line.

The drill repeats the other way round (blue passing to red). Drill continues in this way.

4 players in a square ( cones can be used )

players pass the ball clockwise around the 4 corners of the square.

After each pass the player follows the ball to the next corner and turns to return to receive the ball by the original corner when the ball comes round again.

All players should be moving before they receive the ball.

Three feeders stand on a line and start with two balls, opposite the worker.

The feeders take it in turns to pass to the worker who must return the pass to the player without the ball (not the same person who passed to you).

After passing the ball feeders must run to the next line behind them, before driving forward to receive the pass from the worker.
