DESCRIPTION

Option 1. Def goes for 1st Intercept Misses and Recovers to 3 feet Hands over Pressure (HOP) Go hard for 2nd Intercept If you get the 2nd Intercept Feeder reoffers on the circle edge Give and Go Option 2. Def Intercepts 1st Ball Feeder Clears and reoffers Def uses the Give and Go to take the ball back down court.

COACHING POINTS

Have a good crack at the 1st Intercept Quick recovery to 3 feet Strong HOP Read the play Go for 2nd Intercept Change direction - hip turn before accelation Quick small steps Square Up Two foot Jump Use Arms for power on elevation If you get the intercept (1st or 2nd) Give the ball to the Feeder and quickly drive back down court Quick transition from Def to Att
