Three players will be in a group two will face eachother with a player in the middle. The role of the player in the middle is to stop the ball before it gets to the player at the other cone. The reason this is important is because as a defender you need to be able to intercept a ball by reacting quickly so that your team have possesion and can hopefully go on to score. If the ball is not intercepted correctly then the other team will have a chance at scoring a point.
