Description
Defender_to_stay 30cm in front of player facing down court, opposite shoulders lining up. Defender to make short sharp footwork to stay in front position, head turned slightly so defender has vision of player & ball down court.
Coaching points
Ensure defender doesn't drop eyes/head, or turn head too far that they lose sight of either player or ball.
Defender to stay on toes, short, sharp movements.
