Firstly the 5 passing and receiving players will need to decide who will play as a GK for when the game develops. Set up the drill in the second quarter, after the passing and receiving players have done 5 successful passes in a row, they can counter-attack. When counter attacking the 2 defenders will get an extra person to help defend who will sit in as a GK. Once they score, the ball goes out of play, or the defenders intercept they retreat-back into the second quarter and start again with the rondo. If the defenders intercept the ball 3 times before the attackers can counter-attack they get to do the same in the other direction with help of a GS and WA against the 5 passing and receiving players who will have to adapt and learn for the purpose of the drill. This drill is successful because it makes a simple drill into a more complex game situation which makes the players develop more of a natural instinct.
