This conditioned game restricts the WA/WD and GA/GD to the wide channels. The players may still move and travel within their thirds but may not come out of the channels. This forces the team to create a wider and bigger pitch encouraging better play and better use of space as well as using the whole team.
Allow teams to play the game with their understanding of the rules and then bring them in and ask how they are findign the game and what could help?
