Worker has to judge to ensure that they arrive in time to receive the ball! Try from both sides. Allow enough attempts to make adjustments. If timing is a issue for your players, expect balls to be going astray to start if feeder always sending ball straight ahead. You may want to set up so players working away from each other, using walls/fencing to 'retrieve' missed balls!
The ball is always going in a straight line (use a line on the court to help judge) The ball needs to be received ahead of the driving player, so they catch it on the move, but it is the responsibility of the driving player to get their timing right in this drill! Driving player should be on their toes throughout, ready to move Keep feet under the body, and no leaping onto the ball. This way, you are ready to send the next ball on in a balanced and controlled manner.
