If the WA and GA are struggling to lose their defenders then take them out of the center pass but stacking one side and freeing up the other side for the WD or GD.
WA and GA should be on the same page with this and take note of a speed mismatch. They need to see that our WD or GD is faster than their opponent and free that side up. WD or GD leads hard to the front of the center third and takes the pass as close as possible to the line. This reduces the risk of a long pass. C needs to stay close to give the WD or GD another passing option. GS needs to be aware that they are needed and that the ball will likely be coming down the open side. They will be likely be receiving the pass. GA needs to lead into the arc to give GS an option to give them the ball and shoot.

A ready-to-run Halloween session for High 5 and junior netball. Real drills in spooky costume, with a warm-up, a technical block, a decision-making game and a finish.
Tight markers win when attackers run in straight lines. Teach your players to dodge, change pace and time their drive so they get free when the ball is ready.
When everyone chases the ball, nobody is free. Teach your team to spread out, offer two options and clear space so the ball moves cleanly down court.
