Drill Description: An easy way to analyse all student’s ability is to pair them up and get them to stand 5 metres away from each other. To keep this drill organised have one person from each pair to stand on the side line and the other opposite them 5 metres away. This will avoid any students being hit and for the teacher to walk around and analyse ability and providing individual feedback. Once students have done these skills over and over and the teacher is happy that everyone is capable, can add in some competition to engage and keep focus over basic skills. “First pair to complete 20 passes”. Negatives with competition can be the students lack in proper technique because trying to do the action quickly. This is okay if the teacher has observed technique before.
