Spider-Run, chase & shoot

DESCRIPTION

SKILL FOCUS: Agility, speed, passing and shooting (communication between team members)

EQUIPMENT: Marker cones (use different cones like demonstrated to make it easier for players).

WHAT TO DO: 

• There is a passer, runner and chaser.
• There is one learner thats the passer.
• The passer stand at the blue cones.
• The runner will stand at the orange cone, while the chaser will stand at the green cone 6m from the orange cone.
• On the first word 'go', the runner runs to cone one where the passer will pass a chest pass to the runner.
• the runner pass the ball back to the passer as the chaser start to chase the runner.
• the chaser must run to cone one first and try to catch the runner.
• the runner must go back to his/her starting point.
• then the runner must go the cone two and three.
• As the runner runs and passes the ball to the passer after cone 3 he must run back to starting cone and back around cone 3 towards cone 4. 
• at cone 4 the passer will pass the ball to the runner where the runner must shoot for a goal.
• After the first round the passer go stand behind the chasers, there will be a new chaser.
• the runner wil become the passer and the chaser will become the runner. 

COACHING POINTS

Guide the learners to use different types of passing skills, for example chest passes, one hand passes, bounce passes, ext.
