To introduce the difference between jogging and sprinting- 5 cones 3 metres apart

  • Players line up behind the start cone
  • Fast feet to the first cone, accelerate to the next cone and sprint to the next cone before jogging to the next cone
  • definite change of pace and arms being used to increase speed
