Have girls gathered around one hoop and demonstrate how to shoot (shoulder pass tends to be a favourite - show both hands (if possible!)
Once girls feel comfortable shooting introduce drill:
Girls work in two teams at opposite ends of the hall (1 adult per team to supervise and support), with a couple of netballs for each team. Take turns to shoot from the 5 different parts of the shooting circle.
Teacher should be looking for: clean and accurate throwing, taking time (3 seconds is a long time!), correct type of pass, using arm to aim if need be. Teacher could stand below hoop to feed ball back to players.
Progression: How many can you do without dropping the ball, players take turn to feed ball back to team,
