DESCRIPTION

Defender throw in

COACHING POINTS

  • WD - Hold your space ball side on the circle edge, keep your opposition behind you
  • GD - draw your opposition away to the other side of the circle, then front cut them with a strong drive to the transverse line to receive the strong shoulder pass from WD
  • GK - strong shoulder pass to the WD, then provide a second option but do not crowd the space
  • C - clear out of the defending third to the centre circle
