Each team starts in a third of the court. Just the attack players for each team put bibs on. Ball starts with the feeder Attack go first and have to pass between the other attack players to get the ball across their back line without it being turned over If the ball is turned over by the defenders then a reset pass back to the feeder is made, then the defenders pass the ball between them working it to get over the back line without it being turned over. If either team manage to get it across the back line they score 1 goal and then the ball gets reset to the feeder and the opposite unit works the ball to get it over the back The feeder is responsible for keeping track on the score line
Play for 2 minutes to see how many goals can be scored by either the attack unit or the defence unit. After the 2 minutes the unit that scored the most goals gets promoted to the next third. The unit that gets the least goals in Sapphires goes to Rubies Then the timer goes on for another 2 minutes to see how many goals can be scored. After the 2 minutes are up, the scores are counted and the winners get promoted as before. The feeder should also switch in each time.
