
Set up a zig zag of feeders down the side line of half of the court and cones about 5 metres away staggered to the feeders. Working player runs towards, jumps to receive ball, lands balanced before returning the ball. They then move out and around the cone, before running towards the next feeder They work their way to the end of the court and come back. Swap feeders.
Feet under body as they run. Eyes up on the feeder and the ball. Use their arms for running then reaching out to grab ball in. Feet under body on landing - this could be from a 1 footed landing and bringing the second down or a 2 footed landing. Demonstrating good balance to enable a strong return pass. Moving out around the cone can be done at a slower pace; players should challenge themselves to run faster onto the pass.
