Get your players limiting the opposition?s play with the use of shadow play! Deny the space of the attacker to force errors, then intercepting the ball through shadow play, getting your defenders to track the opposition?s movements. Give the opponent the illusion they have the space then hey presto! Your players will be able to intercept and regain possession with keeping track of their marker.
What?s in the session?
Work on your player?s speed, agility and decision making skills through a number of competitive situations, making sure they understand the importance of body positioning and being able to anticipate the play. Get your players used to the style of play they?ll need to help them become a solid defence team, giving your attackers more opportunities to go win the game!
