Cut the cake - 1 ball, 8 players 1 person in middle of circle. Person in middle passes ball to one player who returns it, that player then runs to gap and catches next ball, then runs to next gap and catches ball and so on until back to original spot. Cut the cabbage - 2 balls, 8 players 2 people at corner of a square each (total 8 players). The opposing person runs straight but takes ball being fed from their left, returns it to their right. Diagnolly opp corner does same thing and swaps through players.
