All players to try and shoot from all black cones and then from all red. Encouraging all to shoot and be confident in the goal circle
Mid court, practise with all players taking turns. All players are lined up behind each other and each have a turn when it is there turn. Thrower passes to runner, runner returns the ball and then runs to cone to right of them, once there, thrower throws them the ball checking foot work, receiver catches, stops and returns the ball, then they run back to the start and over to the next cone to the left of them, repeat the pass, catch, stop, return the ball to the thrower and then run to the back of the line. Continue until all players have had a go.

Most club teams defend one-on-one and nothing else. A well-drilled zone gives you a second option, and against the right opponent it is the difference between chasing and controlling.
The backline pass is the most under-coached restart in netball. Get it right and you turn a dead ball into an attacking weapon before the opposition has reset.
July is the month that decides your season. Netball is not a steady jog - it is a string of short, sharp, repeated sprints with barely any recovery. Here is how to build a pre-season engine that still has legs in the final quarter.
