Hi Holly, for the "Competing for the Ball" drill, a suggested progression is to add a variation where the player who doesn't gain control of the ball must drop off three feet and attempt to block the return pass to the feeder. This progression adds an additional defensive element to the drill, encouraging players to quickly transition from offense to defense.
